How to add a friend?

Add a friend and see his location 24/7.

Open the search window using one of these ways:

• Don`t ignore our entry pop-up window, when you launch the App for the first time, press Add a friend. Then see below How to add a friend instructions.
• Use the Map tap, at the top of the map choose Friends on the button Friends/Places. Press the plus button in the lower left corner. Then see below How to add a friend instructions.
• Go to the tab Contacts. There you can press the button plus in the right up corner. Then see below How to add a friend instructions. Also you can choose a friend from your contact list, if you have the number on your telephone. Look for My contacts list below, choose the number, press it and see point 2 in the How to add a friend instructions.
• The Notifications tap also allows you to add the first friend, if you don`t have any yet, press there Add a friend. Then see below How to add a friend instructions.
• If you do not have any friends, you can also go to your Profile, choose Tracking settings there, next you will see the notification No friends to track and the button Add a friend, press it. Then see below How to add a friend instructions.

How to add a friend by telephone number or email:

1. Enter friend`s mobile phone or email. Press Find friend ( in case you want to choose a friend from your contact list, press Select contacts, choose there the phone number, push it).
2. If your friend is already an iMapp user, you will see the notice, add your friend. If not, invite them.

How to Invite a friend instructions.

1. If your friend does not use the iMapp yet, on the next screen you will see the option Invite a friend to see his location 24/7, press it.
2. Send the invitation either through iMessage, choosing Invite by SMS, or through other messenger, choosing Request by..., also you can send invitation by email if you used it for research. As soon as your friend accept the invitation and install the App, you will be able to see the location 24/7.

How to accept the invitation and join the iMapp?

If you don`t use the iMapp yet, but your friend invites you - accept the invitation.

1. If you have received a message from your friend with the invitation, click it.
2. On the next screen you will see the Invitation notice, press the button Accept invitation to accept the invitation.
3. Next you will see the App Store window, there the iMapp logo, the title "Find my Phone, Friends - iMapp" and the sign Get, press it and download the application (if you used to have the App set on your phone, but deleted it, you will see the sign of a cloud, press the sign).
4. On your home screen you will see the iMapp icon, push it. Open the App and follow the instructions.
5. Accept your friend`s incoming invitation.

How to share or don`t share your location with your friend?

Control the tracking of your location with the iMapp settings.

Keep in mind that first of all the application iMapp has to be allowed to track your location in telephone settings if you want to share it. Also you can deny its access in telephone settings to stop the tracking.

Use the Profile tap to set the friend`s tracking of your location.

1. On the tap Profile select the sign Tracking settings.
2. On the next screen you will see the heading Share my location with: and the list of your iMapp friends. Switch the sign opposite your friend`s name whether you want to share your location or not.
3. Don`t forget to agree or disagree with the settings.

Use the Map tap to set the friend`s tracking of your location.

1. At the top of the Map tap choose Friends on the button Friends/Places.
2. At the bottom of the Map choose the friend, whose access to your location you want to set. Press its sign.
3. Swipe up the appeared window unless you see the Share my location, turn on or turn off the tracking.

How to change your profile?

Edit your profile whenever you want.

Use the Profile tap to change your profile.

1. On the Profile tap press the greeting button with "Hello" caption and your name, open the Account settings. Also you can open them pushing the Account settings sign.
2. On the page you can change the following:

2.1. Change your profile icon pressing it or set a new one pushing the plus sign. Select from the gallery the picture you want, or just remove your photo.

2.2. Change your name pressing it and filling the field.

2.3. Change your password pushing the button Change Password. On the next screen you will see the fields CREATE A PASSWORD and CONFIRM PASSWORD. Don`t forget to save new information pressing Save in the upper right corner.

2.4. Control your subscription choosing the button Manage Subscription. There you can set the usage of applications, also edit iMapp subscriptons. Push its icon and choose the option you prefer. At the bottom of the page you can also read About subscription and Privacy information.

2.5. Pushing the sign Remove Account you can delete your account, confirm your decision.

How to view your Location history?

You can see where you have been for past 60 days.

Use the Profile tap to check your location history.

1. On the Profile tap select Location history sign. On the next screen you will see the map with your route.
2. You can change the points on your route switching the arrows on sides of the screen.
3. You can select the day for your location history choosing the circle with the appropriate date at the bottom of the map.

Why is it important to allow iMapp to use your location and send you notifications?

We want the App to work properly, so do not miss the warnings about your location and notifications settings. Anyway, you can control it in your phone`s settings any time you want.

Use your phone`s settings.

Keep in mind that location has to be turned on in phone settings.

1. In your phone`s settings below the Apple Store select the iMapp sign, press it.
2. Below the title ALLOW IMAPP TO ACCESS choose Location, below the title ALLOW LOCATION ACCESS choose Never, Ask Next Time, While Using the App, Always. We advise you to set Always so the App will work the best way.
3. Return to iMapp settings, below the title ALLOW IMAPP TO ACCESS choose Notifications. We advise you to activate Allow Notifications, so the App will work the best way, then select the alerts, banner style, sounds and options for your convenience.

How to locate your friend by location request?

Get the location of your friend even though your friend doesn`t have the iMapp application. Just send SMS.

Use the Contacts tap to locate your friend from your contact list.

1. On the tap Contacts below the list of your iMapp friends find the list of My contacts.
2. Through the list choose your friend`s telephone number. Press it.
3. On the next screen you will see the button Locate a friend. Press it.
4. Choose either to send the request through SMS - Locate by SMS, or through other messenger - Request by....
5. Send the request.
6. Wait till your friend will accept the request and share the location with you. You need to send this request every time you`d like to update it.

Use other taps to locate your friend by phone number.

1. Open the search window using one of these ways:

• Use the Map tap, at the top of the map choose Friends on the button Friends/Places. Press the plus button in the lower left corner.
• Go to the tab Contacts. There you can press the button plus in the right up corner.
• The Notifications tap also allows you to open the search screen, if you don`t have any friends yet, press there Add a friend.
• If you do not have any friends, you can also go to your Profile, choose Tracking settings there, next you will see the notification No friends to track and the button Add a friend, press it.

1. Enter friend`s mobile phone. Press Find friend.
2. On the next screen you will see a button Locate a friend, push it and send the request either through iMessage, choosing Locate by SMS, or through other messenger, choosing Request by.... You will find your friend`s location when your request will be accepted. You need to send the request every time you want to update the location.

How to accept the request and share your location?

If you don`t use the iMapp yet, but your friend asks you to share your location - accept the request.

1. If you have received a message from your friend with the request, click it.
2. On the next screen you will see the announcement with a request to share your location, accept it.
3. Next you will see your location, which you`ve shared, on the map.

How to add a place?

Make a list of your places on the map to receive notifications about your friends` visits.

Use the Profile tap to add a place.

1. On the Profile tap choose the sign My places, press it.
2. On the next screen you will see the button Add a place, push it.
3. Create a place on the map. The signpost shows the location you want to set as a place. Change the scale using plus and minus signs, the arrow sign will mark your current location.
4. Below the map fill in the place name, lower add a photo or select an icon for your place, lower set a radius of the zone.
5. Don`t forget to press Save in the upper right corner of the screen.

Use the Map tap to add a place.

1. At the top of the Map tap choose Places on the button Friends/Places.
2. At the bottom of the Map choose plus sign with Add a place caption.
3. Create a place on the map. The signpost shows the location you want to set as a place. Change the scale using plus and minus signs, the arrow sign will mark your current location.
4. Below the map fill in the place name, lower add a photo or select an icon for your place, lower set a radius of the zone.
5. Don`t forget to press Save in the upper right corner of the screen.

How to add your friend to a place notification?

Add your friend to a place notification and track when your friend visit it.

Use the Map tap to add a friend to a place notification.

1. At the top of the Map tap choose Friends on the button Friends/Places.
2. At the bottom of the Map choose the friend you want to add to a place notification, press the sign.
3. Swipe up the appeared window unless you see the Places notifications sign.
4. Press the button plus Add.
5. On the next screen you will see the button Add a place and list of places, if you already have any. 5.1. If you want to create a new place, push the button Add a place. Create a place on the map. The signpost shows the location you want to set as a place. Change the scale using plus and minus signs, the arrow sign will mark your current location. Below the map fill in the place name, lower add a photo or select an icon for your place, lower set a radius of the zone. Don`t forget to press Save in the upper right corner of the screen. The new place will appear on the list.
6. Choose the place from your list and press its sign. You will see the new place in Places notifications in your friend`s window.

How to view your friend`s Location history?

You can see where your friend has been for past 60 days.

Use the Map tap to check your friend`s location history.

1. At the top of the Map tap choose Friends on the button Friends/Places.
2. Select your friend`s sign from the chain of circles at the bottom of the map, press it.
3. In the appeared window choose the button History in the lower right corner. On the next screen you will see the map with your friend`s route.
4. You can change the points on your friend`s route switching the arrows on sides of the screen.
5. You can select the day for your friend`s location history choosing the circle with the appropriate date at the bottom of the map.

How to build a route?

Build a route to your friend or place using the iMapp.

Use the Map tap to build a route.

1. At the top of the Map tap choose Friends or Places on the button Friends/Places depending to whom or what you want to build a route.
2. Select your friend or place from the chain of circles at the bottom of the map, press it.
3. In the appeared window choose the button Build route. Select the application.
4. Build a route to your friend or place using the application.

How to view locations statistics?

View your friends` locations statistics and check their favorite places.

Use the Map tap to view statistics.

1. At the top of the Map tap choose Friends on the button Friends/Places.
2. Select your friend`s sign from the chain of circles at the bottom of the map, press it.
3. In the appeared window choose the button Statistics in the lower right corner. On the next screen you will see the map with your friend`s statistics. Above the map you can choose the period: day, week or month.
